2008 Teachers of the Year

2007-08 Teachers of the Year Announced:

Three Oakdale teachers were recently honored as building level teachers of the
year for the 2007-08 school year. Those teachers are April Moore (grades K-4),
Holly Dickerson (grades 5-8), and Tammy Rogers (high school).

Each school in Morgan County submits its building level teachers of the year to be
considered for the honor of Morgan County Teacher of the Year. Those selected
as Morgan County Teacher of the Year go on to compete for Tennessee Teacher
of the Year. To be named, Tennessee Teacher of the Year, one has to be named
regional teacher of the year and sectional teacher of the year.

This year, two of Oakdale's building level honorees were also selected as Morgan
County Teachers of the Year. Holly Dickerson and Tammy Rogers will represent
Oakdale School and Morgan County Schools as they compete on the regional level.

Congratulations to all three ladies as their dedication and hard work are
recognized.
